So my day continued on after getting the "backstage" tickets. I called Melba to tell her that it was official that I would making the trip to Chi-town and hoped that we could get a visit in while I was there. She let me know that a radio station down there was GIVING AWAY NKOTB tickets. WHAT????? What station? When? For how long?
Ever since she told me that I've been trying to win....thank you who ever invented this Internet thing and streaming radio shows! Now don't start calling and bumping me. I've already talked to two DJs there... and one put me on the radio!
Nina Chantele and I talked for a brief time - she put me on the radio... I told her I was from MN and was listening to them to try to win tickets because the show is sold out.... I was reaching... I had hoped she'd be nice and give me a pair, but I know better. I've been a teenager trying to do the same thing years ago for the same group... LOL!
