Chicago Show - October 4, 2008

So it ends up that Trisha can't handle going to both shows (Chicago and Milwaukee). I get it. I asked Lisa if she wanted to go - she said she'd rather go to the Minneapolis show. I went to plan B. Melba said that if anyone backed out that she would love to go to the show when we were ordering tickets... and now she is! Yeah!

Originally I was planning on driving there in my car with a fellow Blockhead Tiff. I wanted to be able to hang out with Melba and "see Chicago". But with her going to the show she's gotta get there too! After thinking it over and talking with Jerome I've decided to take the MegaBus to Chicago and Tiff agreed. (Thanks Tiff for understanding all the moving parts to this!)

Tiff and I booked our MegaBus tickets this morning and are getting round trip travel for less than a tank of gas... yeah... you heard me. We leave Friday morning at 7AM in Minneapolis and arrive in Chi-town around 3PM. Friday Melba and I will hang out at her house. Then Saturday we go to the show and I'll be staying in the hotel with Tiff after her 5* experience (which I can not wait to hear about!). Tiff and I will then leave Sunday afternoon with hopes of meeting up with other Blockheads for bunch that morning.

Now, Melba... we're going to have to talk about you wearing all of your buttons and pins... especially when you said you were going to wear the 8" ones over certain places on your body :) I know you've been following around on here... but you best go check out all the posts labeled Chicago!
